To Martin Cole (imRAC P/L a division of Cole Innovation & Design P/L) for winning the Engineering Excellence Award for Emerging Technologies for his design and development of the next generation fire prevention technology – MONITAIR.
The MONITAIR system, manufactured at LABTAM, is the third generation of aspirated smoke-monitoring technology, setting a new bechmark in performance by uniquely discriminating between dust and smoke with a high level of sensitivity that provides very early warning and minimises false alarms.
